10 Technical Writer Job Leads

Here are the IT Technical Writer job leads for Tuesday, August 11th, 2009.  These leads are in addition to the wider range of (mostly freelance) Writer Job leads that Will posts every day. They are, again, a mix of management, senior level, midlevel, and beginner positions.  The first five are from Dice, and the last five are from Monster; see the links to the Dice, Snag-A-Job, and Yahoo! 1. IT Technical Writer Link Technologies is currently seeking an IT Technical writer for a contract position in Las Vegas, NV. Work will be on site, Monday through Thursday, 7AM to 6PM work schedule.
2. Urgently need Technical Writer (IT) This is a 5 month contract, non-telecommuting position with Avval, Inc. in Chicago, IL, 20 hours/week. No rate is indicated.
3. SharePoint Technical Writer In San Jose, CA, with salary ‘open to discussion’, prior experience in developing user manuals, help documentation and online and in class training materials is needed.
4. Technical Writer Fulltime Technical Writer in Oxon Hill, MD with a current TS/SCI clearance. Salary is ‘competitive/DOE’.
5. Senior Technical Writer-Consultant Fulltime position with Dell’s Nashua, New Hampshire Design Center. Rate not indicated.
6. Software Technical Writer Midlevel to Senior fulltime employee position in Dublin, OH with the Dot Net Factory. A pay rate is not listed.
7. Science Writer for Circulation Research Now this looks interesting: Freelance Science Writer for Circulation Research, Journal of the American Heart Association. Writing articles both for the magazine and for blogs, and telecommuting is ok.
8. Mid-Level Technical Writer This fulltime, temporary/contract/project, or employee position is with Modis, a staffing services agency, for their client, in Beltsville, MD. Salary is negotiable.
9. Technical Writer (Part-time) Technisource, a staffing/recruiting agency, has a part-time (20 hrs per week/time flexible) position, with an expected duration of 5 to 7 years, for $25/hour in Santa Ana, CA.
10. Senior Technical Writer Management Science Associates in Pittsburgh, PA has this fulltime employee position for a person with a wide range of experience and technical skills. Salary is negotiable.
